السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَهْلَ بَيْتِ النُّبُوَّةِ وَ مَوْضِعَ الرِّسَالَةِ وَمُخْتَلَفَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَمَهْبِطَ الْوَحْيِ وَمَعْدِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ وَخُزَّانَ الْعِلْمِ وَمُنْتَهَى الْحِلْمِ وَأُصُولَ الْكَرَمِ وَقَادَةَ الْأُمَمِ وَأَوْلِيَاءَ النِّعَمِ

Peace be on you [O Ahlul Bayt] O the family of the Prophet Who are the seat of Divine mission And to whom the Angels proceed And to whom is the destination of the Divine revelation Who are the fountainhead of mercy And the treasures of knowledge And the ultimate in forbearance And the roots of philanthropy And the leaders of nations And the men of bounties

  2. Salams for Ahlul Bayt:

‏وَعَنَاصِرَ الْأَبْرَارِ وَدَعَائِمَ الْأَخْيَارِ وَسَاسَةَ الْعِبَادِ وَأَرْكَانَ الْبِلاَدِ وَأَبْوَابَ الْإِيمَانِ ‏وَأُمَنَاءَ الرَّحْمَنِ وَسُلاَلَةَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَصَفْوَةَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَعِتْرَةَ خِيَرَةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

[O Ahlul Bayt] You are the elements of virtue And the pillars of goodness And the spiritual guide to men And the shields to the lands And the gateways to the Faith And the trustees of the Merciful And the descendants of the Prophets And the elect of the Messengers And the Household of the distinctive select of the Lord of the worlds And upon you be the mercy and blessings of Allah

  3. Salams for Ahlul Bayt:

السَّلاَمُ عَلَى أَئِمَّةِ الْهُدَى وَمَصَابِيحِ الدُّجَى وَأَعْلاَمِ التُّقَى وَذَوِي النُّهَى وَأُولِي الْحِجَى ‏وَكَهْفِ الْوَرَى وَوَرَثَةِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالْمَثَلِ الْأَعْلَى وَالدَّعْوَةِ الْحُسْنَى ‏وَحُجَجِ اللَّهِ عَلَى أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَالْأُولَى وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Peace be unto the Guides to the Right Path And the lanterns in the darkness And the banner of piety And the end means to understanding And the ones of highest thought And the shelters for people And the heirs of the Prophets And the ideal most high And the distinguished caller unto the good And the decisive arguments of Allah against the people of the world, be it of the Hereafter or the former And upon you be the mercy and blessings of Allah

  4. Salams for Ahlul Bayt:

السَّلاَمُ عَلَى مَحَالِّ مَعْرِفَةِ اللَّهِ وَمَسَاكِنِ بَرَكَةِ اللَّهِ وَمَعَادِنِ حِكْمَةِ اللَّهِ ‏وَحَفَظَةِ سِرِّ اللَّهِ وَحَمَلَةِ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَأَوْصِيَاءِ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ ‏وَذُرِّيَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Peace unto the exponents of the awareness of Allah And the dorms of Allah's blessings And the deposit of the Allah's wisdom And the safeguards of Allah's secrets And the retainers of Allah's Book And the Designates of Allah's Prophet And the progeny of Allah's Messenger May upon you be the mercy and blessings of Allah

السَّلاَمُ عَلَى الدُّعَاةِ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَالْأَدِلاَّءِ عَلَى مَرْضَاةِ اللَّهِ وَالْمُسْتَقِرِّينَ فِي أَمْرِ اللَّهِ ‏وَالتَّامِّينَ فِي مَحَبَّةِ اللَّهِ وَالْمُخْلِصِينَ فِي تَوْحِيدِ اللَّهِ وَالْمُظْهِرِينَ لِأَمْرِ اللَّهِ وَنَهْيِهِ ‏وَعِبَادِهِ الْمُكْرَمِينَ الَّذِينَ لاَ يَسْبِقُونَهُ بِالْقَوْلِ وَهُمْ بِأَمْرِهِ يَعْمَلُونَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Peace on you, the callers of people unto Allah And the guide to what wins the pleasure of Allah And the ones who abide by the laws of Allah And the ones who truly love Allah And the ones who sincerely believe in Tawhid of Allah And the ones who clarify the lawful and unlawful made by Allah And the ones honored of Allah's bondmen Who speak not ahead of Him and act by His command May upon you be the mercy and blessings of Allah

السَّلاَمُ عَلَى الْأَئِمَّةِ الدُّعَاةِ وَالْقَادَةِ الْهُدَاةِ وَالسَّادَةِ الْوُلاَةِ وَالذَّادَةِ الْحُمَاةِ وَأَهْلِ الذِّكْرِ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ وَبَقِيَّةِ اللَّهِ وَخِيَرَتِهِ وَحِزْبِهِ وَعَيْبَةِ عِلْمِهِ ‏وَحُجَّتِهِ وَصِرَاطِهِ وَنُورِهِ وَبُرْهانِهِ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Peace unto the Imams who truly guide And the leaders unto guidance And the masters, and the loving guardians And the protecting defenders And the people of the Quran's remembrance Who are the authority And the good which Allah has left for people   You are Allah's choice and His group And the store of His Knowledge And His argument, and His path And His light, and His proof May upon you be the mercy and blessings of Allah

‏أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ كَمَا شَهِدَ اللَّهُ لِنَفْسِهِ وَشَهِدَتْ لَهُ مَلاَئِكَتُهُ ‏وَأُولُوا الْعِلْمِ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ ‏وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ الْمُنْتَجَبُ وَرَسُولُهُ الْمُرْتَضَى ‏أَرْسَلَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ

I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, the One Who has no partner with Him: Just as Allah Has testified to His own Oneness And His Angels testify for His Oneness And so do His knowledgeable creatures testify it   There is no deity except Him; the Almighty the All-wise I bear witness that Muhammad is His elect servant And His approved Messenger Whom He sent with guidance and the Religion of Truth So that He may cause His religion to prevail over all religions: No matter how much the disbelievers may oppose it

‏‏وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكُمُ الْأَئِمَّةُ الرَّاشِدُونَ الْمَهْدِيُّونَ الْمَعْصُومُونَ الْمُكَرَّمُونَ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ الْمُتَّقُونَ الصَّادِقُونَ ‏الْمُصْطَفَوْنَ الْمُطِيعُونَ لِلَّهِ الْقَوَّامُونَ بِأَمْرِهِ الْعَامِلُونَ بِإِرَادَتِهِ الْفَائِزُونَ بِكَرَامَتِهِ

And I bear witness that all of you are the Rightly Guided Imams And the verily guided ones, and the ones infallible Who are the venerated, and the favored ones And the pious ones who speak the Truth And the chosen ones, and the obedient servants of Allah Who are the actuators of the rule of God Who practice what He wills, and Who are the winners by way of His grandeur

‏اصْطَفَاكُمْ بِعِلْمِهِ وَارْتَضَاكُمْ لِغَيْبِهِ وَاخْتَارَكُمْ لِسِرِّهِ ‏وَاجْتَبَاكُمْ بِقُدْرَتِهِ وَأَعَزَّكُمْ بِهُدَاهُ وَخَصَّكُمْ بِبُرْهَانِهِ وَانْتَجَبَكُمْ لِنُورِهِ وَأَيَّدَكُمْ بِرُوحِهِ

Allah has chosen you to have His knowledge And He is gratified for what comes to pass And placed His trust in you for His Secrets And strengthened you with His Might And empowered you with His Guidance And distinguished you with His Proofs And enhanced you with His Light And confirmed you with His Holy spirit

‏وَرَضِيَكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ فِي أَرْضِهِ   وَحُجَجاً عَلَى بَرِيَّتِهِ وَأَنْصَاراً لِدِينِهِ   ‏وَحَفَظَةً لِسِرِّهِ وَخَزَنَةً لِعِلْمِهِ   وَمُسْتَوْدَعاً لِحِكْمَتِهِ وَتَرَاجِمَةً لِوَحْيِهِ   وَأَرْكَاناً لِتَوْحِيدِهِ ‏وَشُهَدَاءَ عَلَى خَلْقِهِ   وَأَعْلاَماً لِعِبَادِهِ وَمَنَاراً فِي بِلاَدِهِ   وَأَدِلاَّءَ عَلَى صِرَاطِهِ ‏عَصَمَكُمُ اللَّهُ مِنَ الزَّلَلِ وَآمَنَكُمْ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ وَطَهَّرَكُمْ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ وَأَذْهَبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ وَطَهَّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيراً

So Allah made you the choice to represent Him in His earth To establish His truth and make it evident for people And to give currency to His religion And to protect His confidence And be the treasure for His knowledge And be the storage for His wisdom And made you to interpret His revelation And to accentuate and preserve His Oneness And to be the witness over Allah's creation   You are the signs that Allah has set for His servants And the beacon Allah made you in the lands And the direction you show unto His path   Allah preserved you pure and free from error And kept you safe from sedition And freed you from the impure and unruly And removed impurity from you And purified you most profoundly

  11. Imams' deeds for God:

فَعَظَّمْتُمْ جَلاَلَهُ وَأَكْبَرْتُمْ شَأْنَهُ وَمَجَّدْتُمْ كَرَمَهُ وَأَدَمْتُمْ ذِكْرَهُ وَوَكَّدْتُمْ مِيثَاقَهُ ‏وَأَحْكَمْتُمْ عَقْدَ طَاعَتِهِ وَنَصَحْتُمْ لَهُ فِي السِّرِّ وَالْعَلاَنِيَةِ وَدَعَوْتُمْ إِلَى سَبِيلِهِ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ وَبَذَلْتُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ فِي مَرْضَاتِهِ وَصَبَرْتُمْ عَلَى مَا أَصَابَكُمْ فِي جَنْبِهِ

Therefore, you, Ahlul Bayt, have glorified Allah's Majesty And have declared His splendor And have venerated His glory And have been constant in His mention And have emphasized His covenant And have affirmed the obedience pledge to Him And have advised people for His sake in private and in public And have called unto His way through words of wisdom and goodly admonition And you have spared none of your own in the effort to do as He willed And you have persevered and faced untold hardships for His cause

12. Imams deeds for God:

وَأَقَمْتُمُ الصَّلاَةَ   وَآتَيْتُمُ الزَّكَاةَ وَأَمَرْتُمْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ   وَنَهَيْتُمْ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَجَاهَدْتُمْ فِي اللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ ‏حَتَّى أَعْلَنْتُمْ دَعْوَتَهُ وَبَيَّنْتُمْ فَرَائِضَهُ وَأَقَمْتُمْ حُدُودَهُ وَنَشَرْتُمْ شَرَائِعَ أَحْكَامِهِ ‏وَسَنَنْتُمْ سُنَّتَهُ وَصِرْتُمْ فِي ذَلِكَ مِنْهُ إِلَى الرِّضَا وَسَلَّمْتُمْ لَهُ الْقَضَاءَ وَصَدَّقْتُمْ مِنْ رُسُلِهِ مَنْ مَضَى

And you, Ahlul Bayt, have established prayers And have given prescribed alms And have advised to do the goodly things And have warned to avoid the evil things And have strived in the way of Allah in letter and spirit until you made known every aspect of His true Message and clarified the obligations and carried out the commands laid down by Him and communicated and propagated His constitution and demonstrated the conduct approved by Him and resolutely accomplished what is dear to Him and fully surrendered to His will And believed in the previous Messengers sent by Him

  13. Imams versus people:

‏فَالرَّاغِبُ عَنْكُمْ مَارِقٌ   وَاللاَّزِمُ لَكُمْ لاَحِقٌ وَالْمُقَصِّرُ فِي حَقِّكُمْ زَاهِقٌ   ‏وَالْحَقُّ مَعَكُمْ وَفِيكُمْ وَمِنْكُمْ وَإِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ أَهْلُهُ وَمَعْدِنُهُ وَمِيرَاثُ النُّبُوَّةِ عِنْدَكُمْ ‏وَإِيَابُ الْخَلْقِ إِلَيْكُمْ وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ وَفَصْلُ الْخِطَابِ عِنْدَكُمْ ‏وَآيَاتُ اللَّهِ لَدَيْكُمْ وَعَزَائِمُهُ فِيكُمْ وَنُورُهُ وَبُرْهَانُهُ عِنْدَكُمْ وَأَمْرُهُ إِلَيْكُمْ

Therefore whoso turns away from you deviates from the right path And whoso adheres to you will reap the goodly aim And whoso fails short of what is due you, annihilates himself Verily Truth is with you, amid you, in you, and it always directs itself unto you And you are the People of the Truth and its essence And the inheritance of Prophethood is with you   Verily you are the final target for the people to return to And to give an account of themselves before you It is you who separate evil from good in clear words And with you are the signs of Allah and His guidelines And in you are the unavoidable decrees of Allah and His plan And you are the true reflection of the Divine Light and Proof Since His authority to guide has been conferred upon you

  14. Imams versus people:

‏مَنْ وَالاَكُمْ فَقَدْ وَالَى اللَّه   وَمَنْ عَادَاكُمْ فَقَدْ عَادَى اللَّهَ وَمَنْ أَحَبَّكُمْ فَقَدْ أَحَبَّ اللَّهَ   وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَكُمْ فَقَدْ أَبْغَضَ اللَّهَ وَمَنِ اعْتَصَمَ بِكُمْ فَقَدِ اعْتَصَمَ بِاللَّهِ ‏أَنْتُمُ الصِّرَاطُ الْأَقْوَمُ والسَّبِيلُ الْأَعْظَمُ وَشُهَدَاءُ دَارِ الْفَنَاءِ وَشُفَعَاءُ دَارِ الْبَقَاءِ وَالرَّحْمَةُ الْمَوْصُولَةُ وَالْآيَةُ الْمَخْزُونَةُ وَالْأَمَانَةُ الْمَحْفُوظَةُ وَالْبَابُ الْمُبْتَلَى بِهِ النَّاسُ ‏مَنْ أَتَاكُمْ نَجَا وَمَنْ لَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ هَلَكَ

He who is your devotee is a devotee of Allah.  And he who in enmity with you is in conflict with Allah And he who loves you is a beloved of Allah And he who dislikes you will be in contempt of Allah And he who takes refuge with you takes asylum with Allah   You are the very means to the right way You are the grand path to Allah And you are the witness to deeds in the present world And the interceders on the Day of Judgment And you are the perpetual mercy And the valued signs that are treasured And you are the Trust well guarded And the forum in which people are put to trial and test He who follows you is saved And he who rejects you is doomed

  15. Imams versus people:

إِلَى اللَّهِ تَدْعُونَ   وَعَلَيْهِ تَدُلُّونَ وَبِهِ تُؤْمِنُونَ  ‏وَلَهُ تُسَلِّمُونَ وَبِأَمْرِهِ تَعْمَلُونَ وَإِلَى سَبِيلِهِ تُرْشِدُونَ وَبِقَوْلِهِ تَحْكُمُونَ ‏سَعِدَ مَنْ وَالاَكُمْ وَهَلَكَ مَنْ عَادَاكُمْ وَخَابَ مَنْ جَحَدَكُمْ وَضَلَّ مَنْ فَارَقَكُمْ ‏وَفَازَ مَنْ تَمَسَّكَ بِكُمْ وَأَمِنَ مَنْ لَجَأَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَسَلِمَ مَنْ صَدَّقَكُمْ وَهُدِيَ مَنِ اعْتَصَمَ بِكُمْ

Unto Allah you invite people and unto Him you show the way And in Him you do believe, and to Him you surrender And by His law and command you proceed And toward His path you guide And by His word you rule   Victorious and successful is he who stands by you And desolate is he who forsakes you And indistinct is he who denies you And has gone astray is he who disconnects from you And prizewinning is he who clings to you And at peace is he who takes sanctuary in you And in safety is he who believes in your truthfulness And well-guided is he who takes refuge in you

  16. Imams versus people:

‏مَنِ اتَّبَعَكُمْ فَالْجَنَّةُ مَأْوَاهُ وَمَنْ خَالَفَكُمْ فَالنَّارُ مَثْوَاهُ ‏وَمَنْ جَحَدَكُمْ كَافِرٌ وَمَنْ حَارَبَكُمْ مُشْرِكٌ وَمَنْ رَدَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي أَسْفَلِ دَرْكٍ مِنَ الْجَحِيمِ

Whoso follows you [Ahlul Bayt] Paradise is his abode And whoso turns against you Hellfire is his end And he who rebukes you will have renounced the faith And he who combats you is as bad as a disbeliever And he who reproves you shall find himself in the lowest tier of Hellfire

  17. Witnessing about the Imams:

‏أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ هَذَا سَابِقٌ لَكُمْ فِيمَا مَضَى  وَجَارٍ لَكُمْ فِيمَا بَقِيَ ‏وَأَنَّ أَرْوَاحَكُمْ وَنُورَكُمْ وَطِينَتَكُمْ وَاحِدَةٌ طَابَتْ وَطَهُرَتْ بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ ‏خَلَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ أَنْوَاراً فَجَعَلَكُمْ بِعَرْشِهِ مُحْدِقِينَ حَتَّى مَنَّ عَلَيْنَا بِكُمْ ‏فَجَعَلَكُمْ فِي بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تُرْفَعَ وَيُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ

I testify that you certainly are as said above, and will continue to be so in future And that your Souls, your Light, and your Form are made from the same Essence Thoroughly pure, and infallible altogether they are, one or the other Allah created you to be the beacon Then kept you nearby, attached with His Throne Until He sent you down in this world as a favor to us So as to pronounce and praise His name aloud in the Houses of Allah

  18. Witnessing about the Imams:

‏وَجَعَلَ صَلاَتَنَا عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَا خَصَّنَا بِهِ مِنْ وِلاَيَتِكُمْ طِيباً لِخَلْقِنَا وَطَهَارَةً لِأَنْفُسِنَا وَتَزْكِيَةً لَنَا وَكَفَّارَةً لِذُنُوبِنَا فَكُنَّا عِنْدَهُ مُسَلِّمِينَ بِفَضْلِكُمْ وَمَعْرُوفِينَ بِتَصْدِيقِنَا إِيَّاكُمْ ‏فَبَلَغَ اللَّهُ بِكُمْ أَشْرَفَ مَحَلِّ الْمُكَرَّمِينَ وَأَعْلَى مَنَازِلِ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ وَأَرْفَعَ دَرَجَاتِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ ‏حَيْثُ لاَ يَلْحَقُهُ لاَحِقٌ وَلاَ يَفُوقُهُ فَائِقٌ وَلاَ يَسْبِقُهُ سَابِقٌ وَلاَ يَطْمَعُ فِي إِدْرَاكِهِ طَامِعٌ

And Allah made our sending blessings on you, and being loyal to you, as signs of the graciousness of our birth And as a purity of our souls And as a refinement of our manners And as a redemption for our sins   Thus we, by Allah's favor, became believers in your virtues And known by believing in your worth Allah made you reach the noblest degree of glory And the highest station near to Him And the loftiest status of the Messengers Where none can ever reach you Nor can anyone surpass you Nor can anyone ever precede you Nor can anyone aspire reaching your positions

  19. Witnessing about the Imams:

‏حَتَّى لاَ يَبْقَى مَلَكٌ مُقَرَّبٌ  وَلاَ نَبِيٌّ مُرْسَلٌ وَلاَ صِدِّيقٌ وَلاَ شَهِيدٌ  وَلاَ عَالِمٌ وَلاَ جَاهِلٌ وَلاَ دَنِيٌّ وَلاَ فَاضِلٌ  وَلاَ مُؤْمِنٌ صَالِحٌ وَلاَ فَاجِرٌ طَالِحٌ  ‏وَلاَ جَبَّارٌ عَنِيدٌ وَلاَ شَيْطَانٌ مَرِيدٌ  وَلاَ خَلْقٌ فِيمَا بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ شَهِيدٌ إِلاَّ عَرَّفَهُمْ جَلاَلَةَ أَمْرِكُمْ وَعِظَمَ خَطَرِكُمْ وَكِبَرَ شَأْنِكُمْ وَتَمَامَ نُورِكُمْ وَصِدْقَ مَقَاعِدِكُمْ وَثَبَاتَ مَقَامِكُمْ ‏وَشَرَفَ مَحَلِّكُمْ وَمَنْزِلَتِكُمْ عِنْدَهُ وَكَرَامَتَكُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَخَاصَّتَكُمْ لَدَيْهِ وَقُرْبَ مَنْزِلَتِكُمْ مِنْهُ

So that no favorite Angels, nor the commissioned Prophets Nor a friend nor a martyr, Nor a scholar nor an ignorant Nor an inferior nor a superior, Nor a pious faithful Nor a wicked sinner, Nor an obstinate tyrant Nor a devilish rebel, Nor any other being had ever been there Except that Allah informs them of the Grandeur of your Authority And the Magnitude of your importance And the Power of your means And the Thoroughness of your enlightenment And the Truthfulness of your essence And the Proof of the durability of your office And the Distinction of your position And the Splendor of your rank and dignity in His estimation And your Esteem in His perception And your Special friendship with Him And the closest nearness you have near Him

  20. Attesting for Imams:

‏بِأَبِي أَنْتُمْ وَأُمِّي وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي وَأُسْرَتِي أُشْهِدُ اللَّهَ وَأُشْهِدُكُمْ أَنِّي مُؤْمِنٌ بِكُمْ وَبِمَا آمَنْتُمْ بِهِ ‏كَافِرٌ بِعَدُوِّكُمْ وَبِمَا كَفَرْتُمْ بِهِ مُسْتَبْصِرٌ بِشَأْنِكُمْ وَبِضَلاَلَةِ مَنْ خَالَفَكُمْ ‏مُوَالٍ لَكُمْ وَلِأَوْلِيَائِكُمْ مُبْغِضٌ لِأَعْدَائِكُمْ وَمُعَادٍ لَهُمْ سِلْمٌ لِمَنْ سَالَمَكُمْ وَحَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حَارَبَكُمْ ‏مُحَقِّقٌ لِمَا حَقَّقْتُمْ مُبْطِلٌ لِمَا أَبْطَلْتُمْ

At your disposal are my father, mother, family, property and possessions I beseech Allah and you to bear witness that I believe in you and in that in which you believe I renounce your enemies and whatever you renounce I am aware of your glorious purpose And of the deviation of him who opposes you I am your devotee and the devotee of your devotees I detest your enemies and strive against their designs I am at peace with those who make peace with you I in fight against those who march against you I accept as true that which acknowledges your truth I prove false that which takes a stand against you

  21. Attesting for Imams:

مُطِيعٌ لَكُمْ   عَارِفٌ بِحَقِّكُمْ ‏مُقِرٌّ بِفَضْلِكُمْ   مُحْتَمِلٌ لِعِلْمِكُمْ مُحْتَجِبٌ بِذِمَّتِكُمْ   مُعْتَرِفٌ بِكُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ بِإِيَابِكُمْ   مُصَدِّقٌ بِرَجْعَتِكُمْ ‏مُنْتَظِرٌ لِأَمْرِكُمْ مُرْتَقِبٌ لِدَوْلَتِكُمْ آخِذٌ بِقَوْلِكُمْ عَامِلٌ بِأَمْرِكُمْ مُسْتَجِيرٌ بِكُمْ

I follow in your footsteps, and I acknowledge your rights I recognize your supremacy and hold to your knowledge I take refuge in your shelter, and I acknowledge you I believe in your coming back, and I believe in your promised return I anticipate and look for your cause I anticipate the advent of your Government I hold fast to that which you have said I carry out your orders I take shelter in your neighborhood

  22. Attesting for Imams:

‏زَائِرٌ لَكُمْ   لاَئِذٌ عَائِذٌ بِقُبُورِكُمْ مُسْتَشْفِعٌ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِكُمْ وَمُتَقَرِّبٌ بِكُمْ إِلَيْهِ ‏وَمُقَدِّمُكُمْ أَمَامَ طَلِبَتِي وَحَوَائِجِي وَإِرَادَتِي  فِي كُلِّ أَحْوَالِي وَأُمُورِي ‏مُؤْمِنٌ بِسِرِّكُمْ وَعَلاَنِيَتِكُمْ وَشَاهِدِكُمْ وَغَائِبِكُمْ  وَأَوَّلِكُمْ وَآخِرِكُمْ وَمُفَوِّضٌ فِي ذَلِكَ كُلِّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ

I do homage to you, and for me your resting abodes are but sanctuaries In the court of the Almighty you are my advocates I seek Allah's nearness through you And for seeking fulfillment of my wants, needs, and requests (under all circumstances) I follow you I believe in your undisclosed, be it invisible or visible Present or absent, the first of you and the last And I entrust in you everything that concerns me fully

  23. Attesting for Imams:

‏وَمُسَلِّمٌ فِيهِ مَعَكُمْ   وَقَلْبِي لَكُمْ مُسَلِّمٌ وَرَأْيِي لَكُمْ تَبَعٌ   وَنُصْرَتِي لَكُمْ مُعَدَّةٌ حَتَّى يُحْيِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى دِينَهُ بِكُمْ وَيَرُدَّكُمْ فِي أَيَّامِهِ وَيُظْهِرَكُمْ لِعَدْلِهِ وَيُمَكِّنَكُمْ فِي أَرْضِهِ ‏فَمَعَكُمْ مَعَكُمْ لاَ مَعَ غَيْرِكُمْ آمَنْتُ بِكُمْ  وَتَوَلَّيْتُ آخِرَكُمْ بِمَا تَوَلَّيْتُ بِهِ أَوَّلَكُمْ

I consent to what you think is good for me, and I surrender my heart  to you Your opinion is my opinion, and I am ready to stand up for you Till Allah Almighty revives His Religion through you And brings you back again in His Days And manifests you to set up His Just Rule And establishes you in His earth So I am with you, with you, not other than you I have full faith in you, and I cherish the last of you just as I cherish the first of you

  24. Attesting for Imams:

‏وَبَرِئْتُ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ أَعْدَائِكُمْ وَمِنَ الْجِبْتِ وَالطَّاغُوتِ  وَالشَّيَاطِينِ ‏وَحِزْبِهِمُ وَالْجَاحِدِينَ لِحَقِّكُمْ وَالْمَارِقِينَ مِنْ وِلاَيَتِكُمْ وَالْغَاصِبِينَ لِإِرْثِكُمْ وَالشَّاكِّينَ فِيكُمْ وَالْمُنْحَرِفِينَ عَنْكُمْ ‏وَمِنْ كُلِّ وَلِيجَةٍ دُونَكُمْ وَكُلِّ مُطَاعٍ سِوَاكُمْ وَمِنَ الْأَئِمَّةِ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى النَّارِ

I turn to Allah Almighty, detaching all links with your foes And from the Jibt and Taghoot, and the devils and their followers, who are: The renegades who usurped your rights The defectors who shunned your authority The charlatans who seized your succession The doubters who hesitated to accept you The deviators who turned away from you And from every affinity apart from you And every allegiance other than that for you And from the leaders who direct toward Hellfire

  25. Attesting for Imams:

فَثَبَّتَنِيَ اللَّهُ أَبَداً مَا حَيِيتُ عَلَى مُوَالاَتِكُمْ وَمَحَبَّتِكُمْ وَدِينِكُمْ   وَوَفَّقَنِي لِطَاعَتِكُمْ   وَرَزَقَنِي شَفَاعَتَكُمْ ‏وَجَعَلَنِي مِنْ خِيَارِ مَوَالِيكُمْ  التَّابِعِينَ لِمَا دَعَوْتُمْ إِلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَنِي مِمَّنْ يَقْتَصُّ آثَارَكُمْ ‏وَيَسْلُكُ سَبِيلَكُمْ وَيَهْتَدِي بِهُدَاكُمْ وَيُحْشَرُ فِي زُمْرَتِكُمْ وَيَكِرُّ فِي رَجْعَتِكُمْ ‏وَيُمَلَّكُ فِي دَوْلَتِكُمْ وَيُشَرَّفُ فِي عَافِيَتِكُمْ وَيُمَكَّنُ فِي أَيَّامِكُمْ ‏وَتَقَرُّ عَيْنُهُ غَداً بِرُؤْيَتِكُمْ

May Allah keep intact my devotion to you forever so far as I am alive And make me adhere to loving you and love your creed And endorse me for your obedience And favor me to gain your intercession And make me among your fortunate disciples, who hold fast to your traditions And make me follow in your footsteps And abide by your guidance And to be raised in your group on the Day of Judgment And be brought back during your reappearance And called upon to help you in your administration And be honored to live under your robust supervision And be enabled in your ruling days And be delighted by seeing you in person

  26. Attesting for Imams:

بِأَبِي أَنْتُمْ وَأُمِّي وَنَفْسِي وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي ‏مَنْ أَرَادَ اللَّهَ بَدَأَ بِكُمْ وَمَنْ وَحَّدَهُ قَبِلَ عَنْكُمْ ‏وَمَنْ قَصَدَهُ تَوَجَّهَ بِكُمْ مَوَالِيَّ لاَ أُحْصِي ثَنَاءَكُمْ وَلاَ أَبْلُغُ مِنَ الْمَدْحِ كُنْهَكُمْ وَمِنَ الْوَصْفِ قَدْرَكُمْ ‏وَأَنْتُمْ نُورُ الْأَخْيَارِ وَهُدَاةُ الْأَبْرَارِ وَحُجَجُ الْجَبَّارِ

At your disposal are my father, mother, family, property and possessions Whoso desires nearness to Allah in fact makes a beginning with you And whoso professes the Oneness of Allah in fact takes after you And whoso aims towards Allah has to turn to you   O my Leaders, I cannot count enough your merits Nor can I come up to the height of worth in your praise Nor can I express the worth of your station You are the very light of the virtuous And the very guides of the pious And the very claims of the Omnipotent Lord

  27. Attesting for Imams:

بِكُمْ فَتَحَ اللَّهُ   ‏وَبِكُمْ يَخْتِمُ اللَّهُ وَبِكُمْ يُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ وَبِكُمْ يُمْسِكُ السَّمَاءَ أَنْ تَقَعَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ ‏وَبِكُمْ يُنَفِّسُ الْهَمَّ وَيَكْشِفُ الضُّرَّ وَعِنْدَكُمْ مَا نَزَلَتْ بِهِ رُسُلُهُ وَهَبَطَتْ بِهِ مَلاَئِكَتُهُ وَإِلَى جَدِّكُمْ … ‏بُعِثَ الرُّوحُ الْأَمِينُ آتَاكُمُ اللَّهُ مَا لَمْ يُؤْتِ أَحَداً مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ

As has Allah created you in the first place, He then disclosed to you His plan of creation On account of you He sent down His abundance And because of you the sky prevents itself from falling down over the earth by His cleave And due to you Allah drives away gloom and rectifies hardships And you have what God's Messengers had come down with And with you is what His Angels brought down And to your forefather, the Truthful Spirit was sent Allah has given you what He has not given to any one in the worlds

  28. Attesting for Imams:

طَأْطَأَ كُلُّ شَرِيفٍ لِشَرَفِكُمْ وَبَخَعَ كُلُّ مُتَكَبِّرٍ لِطَاعَتِكُمْ ‏وَخَضَعَ كُلُّ جَبَّارٍ لِفَضْلِكُمْ وَذَلَّ كُلُّ شَيْ‏ءٍ لَكُمْ وَأَشْرَقَتِ الْأَرْضُ بِنُورِكُمْ وَفَازَ الْفَائِزُونَ بِوِلاَيَتِكُمْ ‏بِكُمْ يُسْلَكُ إِلَى الرِّضْوَانِ وَعَلَى مَنْ جَحَدَ وِلاَيَتَكُمْ غَضَبُ الرَّحْمَنِ

Men of high birth hang their heads before your noble lineage And every arrogant lord submits to you in obedience And every high and mighty is dwarfed before your grandeur And everything humbles itself before you   Your radiance lights up the earth Have triumphed those who cherish you Your ways lead to the Heavenly Bliss As to those who forsake your ways theirs is the wrath of the Almighty.

  29. Attesting for Imams:

‏بِأَبِي أَنْتُمْ وَأُمِّي وَنَفْسِي وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي ذِكْرُكُمْ فِي الذَّاكِرِينَ   وَأَسْمَاؤُكُمْ فِي الْأَسْمَاءِ وَأَجْسَادُكُمْ فِي الْأَجْسَادِ   وَأَرْوَاحُكُمْ فِي الْأَرْوَاحِ وَأَنْفُسُكُمْ فِي النُّفُوسِ   وَآثَارُكُمْ فِي الْآثَارِ وَقُبُورُكُمْ فِي الْقُبُورِ فَمَا أَحْلَى أَسْمَاءَكُمْ وَأَكْرَمَ أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَأَعْظَمَ شَأْنَكُمْ وَأَجَلَّ خَطَرَكُمْ وَأَوْفَى عَهْدَكُمْ وَأَصْدَقَ وَعْدَكُمْ

At your disposal are my father, mother, family, property and possessions Although people make mention of you Your revered names are called along with other names Your revered souls rest with other souls Your revered beings exist side by side with other beings Your Unique traditions are cited with other traditions Your resting places are seen amidst others   But how highly gracious are your names And how bountiful and magnificent are your lives And how congenial is your nature and disposition And how befitting is your station And how dependable is your covenant And how true is your promise

  30. Attesting for Imams:

كَلاَمُكُمْ نُورٌ   وَأَمْرُكُمْ رُشْدٌ وَوَصِيَّتُكُمُ التَّقْوَى   وَفِعْلُكُمُ الْخَيْرُ وَعَادَتُكُمُ الْإِحْسَانُ وَسَجِيَّتُكُمُ الْكَرَمُ ‏وَشَأْنُكُمُ الْحَقُّ وَالصِّدْقُ وَالرِّفْقُ وَقَوْلُكُمْ حُكْمٌ وَحَتْمٌ وَرَأْيُكُمْ عِلْمٌ وَحِلْمٌ وَحَزْمٌ ‏إِنْ ذُكِرَ الْخَيْرُ كُنْتُمْ أَوَّلَهُ وَأَصْلَهُ وَفَرْعَهُ وَمَعْدِنَهُ وَمَأْوَاهُ وَمُنْتَهَاهُ

Your words enlighten, and Your advice is wise and fair Your recommendation is Piety, and your deeds are for the good Your manner of living is for goodness And your habit is to be generous In your nature is the Truth, and fair-dealing, and saying what is true, and assisting others Your words are crucial and decisive Your opinion is based on knowledge, temperance and forethought If goodness is mentioned, you are its beginning And its core and origin and branch And its resting place too and its end

  31. Attesting for Imams:

بِأَبِي أَنْتُمْ وَأُمِّي وَنَفْسِي كَيْفَ أَصِفُ حُسْنَ ثَنَائِكُمْ وَأُحْصِي جَمِيلَ بَلاَئِكُمْ ‏وَبِكُمْ أَخْرَجَنَا اللَّهُ مِنَ الذُّلِّ   وَفَرَّجَ عَنَّا غَمَرَاتِ الْكُرُوبِ وَأَنْقَذَنَا مِنْ شَفَا جُرُفِ الْهَلَكَاتِ وَمِنَ النَّارِ بِأَبِي أَنْتُمْ وَأُمِّي وَنَفْسِي بِمُوَالاَتِكُمْ عَلَّمَنَا اللَّهُ مَعَالِمَ دِينِنَا وَأَصْلَحَ مَا كَانَ فَسَدَ مِنْ دُنْيَانَا وَبِمُوَالاَتِكُمْ تَمَّتِ الْكَلِمَةُ وَعَظُمَتِ النِّعْمَةُ وَائْتَلَفَتِ الْفُرْقَةُ

At your disposal are my father, mother, and family How shall I describe enough the goodness of your merits? How shall I define enough your decorum in the hour of trial? It is on your account that Allah pulls us out of the degradation, and sets us free from the clutches of hardships And through you Allah takes us to safety from the precipice of annihilation into the Fire   At your disposal are my father, mother, and family By our devotion to you Allah taught us our religion And He rectified what had been corrupted in our world And by our loyalty to you the Word has been completed And the Grace has become great And the discord has turned into togetherness

  32. Attesting for Imams:

وَبِمُوَالاَتِكُمْ تُقْبَلُ الطَّاعَةُ الْمُفْتَرَضَةُ وَلَكُمُ الْمَوَدَّةُ الْوَاجِبَةُ وَالدَّرَجَاتُ الرَّفِيعَةُ وَالْمَقَامُ الْمَحْمُودُ وَالْمَكَانُ الْمَعْلُومُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَالْجَاهُ الْعَظِيمُ وَالشَّأْنُ الْكَبِيرُ وَالشَّفَاعَةُ الْمَقْبُولَةُ

And it is by our loyalty to you that the required obedience to Allah is accepted And to you is the obligatory adoration And to you are the highest standings And to you is the Praised Rank And to you is the renowned station in Allah’s view And so is the topmost office And the supreme rank And the admitted intercession

  33. Attesting for Imams:

رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ ‏رَبَّنَا لاَ تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ ‏سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِنْ كَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّنَا لَمَفْعُولاً يَا وَلِيَّ اللَّهِ إِنَّ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ذُنُوباً لاَ يَأْتِي عَلَيْهَا إِلاَّ رِضَاكُمْ ‏فَبِحَقِّ مَنِ ائْتَمَنَكُمْ عَلَى سِرِّهِ وَاسْتَرْعَاكُمْ أَمْرَ خَلْقِهِ وَقَرَنَ طَاعَتَكُمْ بِطَاعَتِهِ ‏لَمَّا اسْتَوْهَبْتُمْ ذُنُوبِي وَكُنْتُمْ شُفَعَائِي فَإِنِّي لَكُمْ مُطِيعٌ

O our Lord, we believe in what You has sent down and we follow the Messenger; so register us among those who bear witness Our Lord! Cause not our hearts to stray after You have guided us, and bestow upon us mercy from Thy Presence. Lo! You, and only You, are the Bestower. Glory be to our Lord for the promise of our Lord takes effect   O Trusted Representative of Allah The barriers of wrongdoings separating me from Allah can not be removed save by attaining your satisfaction Therefore in the name of the divine authority delegated to you And the administration of the human society entrusted to you And joining obedience to Him to the obedience to you I implore you to pardon my sins And to intercede for me For I obey you

  34. Attesting for Imams:

مَنْ أَطَاعَكُمْ فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللَّهَ ‏وَمَنْ عَصَاكُمْ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ وَمَنْ أَحَبَّكُمْ فَقَدْ أَحَبَّ اللَّهَ وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَكُمْ فَقَدْ أَبْغَضَ اللَّهَ

He who obeys you will have obeyed Allah He who disobeys you will have disobeyed Allah He who loves you will have loved Allah He who detest you will have detested Allah

  35. Attesting for Imams:

‏اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي لَوْ وَجَدْتُ شُفَعَاءَ أَقْرَبَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الْأَخْيَارِ الْأَئِمَّةِ الْأَبْرَارِ لَجَعَلْتُهُمْ شُفَعَائِي ‏فَبِحَقِّهِمُ الَّذِي أَوْجَبْتَ لَهُمْ عَلَيْكَ أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُدْخِلَنِي فِي جُمْلَةِ الْعَارِفِينَ بِهِمْ وَبِحَقِّهِمْ ‏وَفِي زُمْرَةِ الْمَرْحُومِينَ بِشَفَاعَتِهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ ‏وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ   وَسَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً كَثِيراً وَحَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ‏

O Allah, had I known interceders that are closer to You than Muhammad and his Household, the virtuous and pious Imams, I would have chosen to intercede for me before You So I beseech You by their Right that You have made obligatory upon us to follow I ask Thee to include me with the group of those who recognize them and their Right And with the assembly of those on whom You will have mercy on account of their intercession Verily, O Allah! You are the All-Merciful Blessings of Allah be upon Muhammad and his infallible Household.  And His peace be upon them, thoroughly Allah is Sufficient for us! Most Excellent is He in Whom we trust!
