Section 0ne:
إلهِي كَسْرِي لا يَجْبُرُهُ إلاَّ لُطْفُكَ
وَحَنانُكَ، وَفَقْرِي لا يُغْنِيهِ إلاَّ عَطْفُكَ وَإحْسانُكَ،
 | وَرَوْعَتِي لا يُسَكِّنُهَا إلاَّ أَمانُكَ، وَذِلَّتِي لا يُعِزُّها إلاَّ سُلْطانُكَ،
|
| وَأُمْنِيَّتِي لا
يُبَلِّغُنِيها إلاَّ فَضْلُكَ، وَخَلَّتِي لا يَسُدُّها إلاَّ طَوْلُكَ،
|
| وَحاجَتِي لا يَقْضِيها غَيْرُكَ، وَكَرْبِي لاَ يُفَرِّجُهُ سِوى رَحْمَتِكَ،
|
| وَضُرِّي لا
يَكْشِفُهُ غَيْرُ رَأْفَتِكَ، وَغُلَّتِي لا يُبَرِّدُها إلاَّ وَصْلُكَ،
|
| وَلَوْعَتِي لا يُطْفِيها إلاَّ لِقآؤُكَ، وَشَوْقِي إلَيْكَ لا يَبُلُّهُ إلاَّ النَّظَرُ إلى
وَجْهِكَ، |
| وَقَرارِي لا يَقِرُّ دُونَ دُنُوِّي مِنْكَ، وَلَهْفَتِي لاَ يَرُدُّها إلاَّ رَوْحُكَ،
|
| وَسُقْمِي لا يَشْفِيهِ إلاَّ طِبُّكَ، وَغَمِّي لا يُزِيلُهُ إلاَّ
قُرْبُكَ، |
| وَجُرْحِي لا يُبْرِئُهُ إلاَّ صَفْحُكَ، وَرَيْنُ قَلْبِي لا يَجْلُوهُ إلاَّ عَفْوُكَ،
|
| وَوَسْواسُ صَدْرِي لا يُزِيحُهُ إلاَّ أَمْرُكَ. |
|
My God, nothing mends my fracture but Thy gentle hand and Thy loving care, and none can free my
poverty but Thy love and Thy affection
| My fright cannot be calmed except by Thy security, and none can exalt my abasement except Thy sovereignty,
|
| And my needs cannot be fulfilled except by Thy bounty, and none can remedy my misfortune except Thy grace,
|
| And none can meet my need other than Thou, or relieve my distress other than Thy mercy, |
| And none can remove my injury other than Thy clemency, and none can cool my severe thirst but by reaching Thee,
|
| And none can quench my ardor but by meeting Thee, and none can dampen my yearning except by looking at Thy
countenance, |
| And none can settle my settling place without closeness to Thee, or allay my worry but by Thy repose,
|
| And none can cure my illness except Thy medicine, or eliminate my grief except by Thy nearness, |
| And none can heal my wound except Thy forgiveness, or remove the load on my heart but by Thy pardon, |
| And none can banish the confusing thoughts from my breast except by Thy command! |
